Fine Art School Photography
I am a fully licensed pre-K-12 Art Teacher with FCPS serving schools in the Northern Virginia Area with over 12 years of photography experience working with children and their families. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Art From James Madison University with a minor in Art History. I also hold a Masters in Art Education and Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Mason University.
At foraged photo, I'm all about creating a warm and welcoming experience for your family. I will bring my portable studio to your school to meet students where they are. My small, dedicated team ensures a personal touch, giving you photos and cherished memories. I also offer customized print products like canvases and framed prints of your children. I also give back to the school with additional services or monetary donations. Welcome to our hassle-free online photography experience! We've streamlined the process to make it convenient for families. Here's what you can expect:
- Online Ordering Galleries: Families are connected to secure, password-protected online galleries organized by grade, classroom, homeroom, or advisory. Each child receives a selection of 2-5 images in both color and black and white.
- Personalized Choices: Say goodbye to predetermined poses! Families have the freedom to choose the photos they want printed. We also offer boutique products like canvas gallery wraps and digital images for future printing and archiving.
- Comprehensive Information: To make things even smoother, a detailed PDF outlining ordering procedures and photoshoot day preparation is provided to each school for distribution to families before photo day.
- Efficient Delivery: Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to the school within four weeks of picture day.
- Full Support: I come fully equipped for photo day, handling all equipment and personnel needs. Any questions from parents and families regarding ordering and products are promptly addressed.
- Digital Files for the School: The school receives all high-resolution digital files for versatile use, from yearbooks and websites to school advertising and ID cards.
- Customized Services: We understand that every school is unique. That's why we're more than willing to collaborate and tailor our services to meet your specific needs.

Rest assured, our rates are competitive, and there's no upfront cost to the school. We operate on a profit-from-ordering model, offering various collections and a-la-carte products to suit everyone's budget. What time of year do you conduct these fine art school photo sessions?
Flexibility is our strength. We collaborate with each school to schedule shoots at any time during the academic year, ensuring convenience for everyone involved.
Do you provide class photos?
Absolutely! If your school requires class photos, we've got it covered. Whether on photo day or at another arranged time, we'll capture those memorable class moments.
Do you do school events too?
