Nice to meet you!
I'm Tiara Lovelace Castillo
I'm Tiara Castillo.
I'm a photographer, artist, educator, and creative problem solver who genuinely loves people.
I started Foraged Photo from the idea of foraging for the moments that might otherwise be overlooked or forgotten. I'm an edible mushroom forager, and I've always loved the patience and attention it takes to find something special. You have to slow down, know where to look, and be ready when you find it.
Photography feels much the same.
I'm always looking for the light, the little details, the secret glances, the laughter, and the moments happening between the moments. I gently guide when needed, but never force connection or ask you to perform for my camera.
I'm also an art educator with a background in studio art, art education, and educational leadership. Years of teaching have made patience, communication, creativity, and adapting on the fly second nature to me, especially when kids (or reluctant adults!) are involved.
Outside of photography, I'm a wife and mom to two girls, a coffee shop owner, and someone who loves good food, movement, laughter, community, and exploring with my family.
Whether I'm photographing your people or creating for your brand, I'm here to notice what might otherwise be missed and turn it into part of your story.
That's the heart of Foraged.
